The civilization's darkest hour has yet to descend
Yet we have long been dwelling within it
Inside a warm illusion, tangible and real
City lights still radiate as usual
Seasons and human sentiments run their ordinary course
History is the palest art of humanity
Lies keep mourning deaths no one has ever witnessed
Dawn is approaching, only the specter of poetry wanders alone
