Untethered Serenity
Leaves have all fallen
The old chinaberry stands alone, yet free
In silent evaporation
Morning dew transforms into clear sky
The mountain woods are without intent
Yet worldly clamor persists unabated
Time wears sorrow
Retrospection mostly futile
The distant fades away
Ethereal, vanishing with the wind
— Thus it passed, yet now I see:
To dwell in dust is not to be of dust
To roam the cosmic void is voidless truly
