If the wind brings word
of the sky the fallen leaves dream of
last night had no stars
Freedom loses the right to stay awake
the city buzzes with debate
romantic reason pretends to flee
Streetlights disregard the human vote
that seemingly needless censorship
goes on strike on schedule at daybreak
Unable to bear correction
outdated manuscript paper sets itself on fire
for ash, for blankness
