It Is Not the Truth
It often, by accident, splits into madness,
at odds with itself.
This cup of coffee tastes wrong,
but let’s drink it anyway.
It says the world must be remade,
no more lies from humankind,
and I will be the last deceiver.
When you think you have found it,
what you have found is never it.
When you feel you have completely lost it,
what you have lost is never it.
Truth is quite the trickster.
It keeps deceiving us,
making us believe
that it is not the truth.
